Windborne at Wycombe Festival - Friday 4th May

The day  is in  two parts :-
The afternoon, from 13.00 until 17.00 is taken up with a Vocal Workshop, run by Windborne, followed at 20.00  by  their Concert in the same venue.

"Windborne are four incredibly talented musicians and singers, from America,whose blend of voices will enchant you. They mix Folk song from America and the UK with Corsican, Georgian and Canadian traditional music and song. The combination of their beautifully created harmonies, and the acoustic of St. Lawrence Church will make for a spellbinding evening's entertainment."

They are also very funny, so please do not miss them!!

Tickets are £20.00 for the four hour Workshop; £15.00 for the evening Concert  

and £30.00 for both events.

Chloe Middleton-Metcalfe has just been awarded funding through TECHNE for her PhD on English social folk dancing (barn dances and ceilidhs) in Buckinghamshire, focussing on the period 1940s-1970s. She is based in the dance department of Roehampton University. She has written this update on her progress to date.
